Ijen volcano Blue fire tour – Today February 6th 2026, Our ijen blue fire trip started at 07.30 pm from Canggu – Bali with our special guests from USA.
Met and greet with our driver at their hotel in Canggu – Bali, then we drove heading to Gilimanuk ferry terminal on the western part of Bali island. the journey took around 3 hours. then after we arrived at ferry terminal then we took ferry to cross Bali strait for another hour to get to Banyuwangi city in Java island where Ijen volcano is located. after that we drove for another 1 hour to get to Ijen volcano location.
On February 7th 2026 arrived at Ijen volcano car park before 02.00 o’clock am, then we met with our hiking local guide and he gave us explanation and brief before start hiking. Start hiking at 02.00 am (Everyone starts at 02.00 m becuase the gate open at 02.00 am) we hiked for 2 hours one way up to the summit (3,5 km) and descent to bottom of the crater (700 mtrs) to see Blue fire as close as possible. after that we hiked back up to the summit, along the way up we saw the spectacular view of tourquise acid lake. had some rest on the top of Ijen volcano to enjoyed the view of the mountains around and also the lake. after satisfied enjoy the view, then we hiked back down to the car for another 2 hours. arrived back at car park at round 7.00 am, then dove back to ferry port for another 1,5 hours, arrived at ferry port then continued take ferry back to Bali, afterward drove another 4 hours back to their hotel in Canggu. Arrived at their hotel at around 04 pm Bali time and finish trip.
They had special experince because they had nice and clear weather so they withnessed blue fire and also the view of the lake clearly. the trip was worth.
